2020 Q1 Recap: $230 Donated to Animals in Need

We are happy to report that in Q1 of 2020, we were able to donate $230 to animal rescues and shelters! Here is a breakdown of our donations as designated by our top sitters:

• $115 to sponsor BooBoo and Figaro at Peace of Mind Dog Rescue (as designated by Jeff)
• $55 to Oregon Dog Rescue (as designated by our CEO Ashley)
• $40 to sponsor Raider at Copper’s Dream (in honor of our sitter Alona)
• $20 to Oregon Dog Rescue (on behalf or our sitter Allison)

While we were hoping our donations would be higher last quarter, sadly COVID-19 hit Sitting for a Cause hard. With the vast majority of people opting not to travel and many people being forced to remain home due to stay-at-home orders or furloughs, we saw many bookings cancelled.

We don’t anticipate things will improve in Q2 and are forecasting no revenue this current quarter. However, we do NOT want this to impact our ability to help rescues and shelters across the country, so we are ironing out a new giving back initiative.
